America has won the Gameplay Award in the Tournament of Sims!
I apologize for my absence. Running for judge has been time consuming. Also, with my wife having had breast cancer surgery, I was on triple duty between playing lawyer, taking care of family, and running for judge. In the interim, I was hoping for a set of posts to start, but they had not. So, in the next few days I'm going to set a post up assuming part of the plot occurred and getting things moving again.
Let's make America even greater!

Mission: Mission 8 - A Blast from the Past
Posted on Thu Apr 17th, 2025 @ 11:32pm by Captain Kelly O'Connor & Lieutenant JG Axel Heskin
Axel walked along the corridor of the ship, his goal the gymnasium. He was hoping to find an area to where he could do some handball practice. He wore a pair of dark blue shorts which hit an inch above his knees, Paired with the dark blue shorts would be a light blue t-shirt, and his runners were dark grey. Over one shoulder he had draped a towel and had a bottle of water in his left hand.
The door opened to the Gym, Axel gazing at the set up. A track for running, a place to lift weights, exercise…

Mission: Mission 8 - A Blast from the Past
Posted on Sun Apr 13th, 2025 @ 5:54pm by Captain Kelly O'Connor & Lieutenant Drake Yarrow & Lieutenant Kailani Young & Lieutenant Glenn Radars & Lieutenant Haarris Zim & Lieutenant JG Cara Ross & Petty Officer, 1st Class Goldie Brown & Prunella Grunvold
The moment that America was inside the shuttlebay, O'Connor practically ran to the hatch to exit. A large puff of pollen exited with her and floated upwards into the air ducts. She immediately commanded, "Zim, take our Romulan friend to the brig and interrogate her if she wakes up." She thought further and said, "Maybe also have medical check in on her. She didn't act like she did before. After you're done, feel free to come and locate me," she told Zim with a crooked smile. "We can talk about all of your security concerns then."
"Aye Captain." Zim said…

Mission: Mission 8 - A Blast from the Past
Posted on Wed Apr 2nd, 2025 @ 4:13am by Captain Kelly O'Connor & Lieutenant Haarris Zim & Lieutenant JG Cara Ross
It was a long way back to the shuttle but the tied up Romulan did not show any signs of waking up. As the party headed back to the shuttle, the pollen became even thicker, sometimes swirling so much to completely obstruct vision. Occasionally O'Connor coughed, but even so, she would glance over at Zim with a crooked smile. "If that Romulan becomes too much for you to carry, Zim, I can handle her." I could handle you too, she thought deliciously. Stop it, Kelly!
The Assistant Security Chief simply smiled in response to the Captain. He had the Romulan…

Mission: Mission 7 - Aenerth for an Earth
Posted on Wed Feb 26th, 2025 @ 4:39pm by Lieutenant JG T'Pruk & Lieutenant JG Brian Pendragon
Surprisingly, after having had her discussion with Brian, T'Pruk found that she was able to meditate. A half hour was a sufficient amount of time for T'Pruk to prepare herself to keep her emotions regulated. The only question was whether Brian was as timely as she. T'Pruk suspected that the engineer was. After all, Brian was a fairly logical human and he did not seem to suffer from many of the problems that plagued other irrational beings. Ending her meditation, she turned around expectantly.
Brian skidded in, trying to tame his wayward hair. Quite how a sonic shower could make…

Mission: Mission 8 - A Blast from the Past
Posted on Wed Feb 26th, 2025 @ 3:40pm by Lieutenant Drake Yarrow & Lieutenant Kailani Young & Lieutenant Glenn Radars
Drake was bored. Orbiting a planet was boring. There was nothing to do but just sit and wait until someone told him to plot a new course. Sure, if some hostile ship came out of the blue, he might be ordered to target it, but that seemed only slightly likely. Why would the Romulans trespass just barely on this side of the Neutral Zone? Clearly already had, but it seemed tactical and none of their ships were in sight.
With nothing to do, he decided that it was time to make something happen. He leaned over towards Kallani and asked…

“Assistant Chief Medical Officer’s log.
I have started to settle in here on the USS America. Although very different from my previous civilian life, I have come to embrace what Starfleet does. What once was a means to an end has slowly become something I care about. It is not just the values, although those matter. Exploration, seeking out new life, new civilizations…discoveries. Advancement. It is all tenants which I can hold close. Of course, there are some things I find strange to this day.
Before I joined Starfleet, I didn’t realise that there were no designated therapists. While a…
