General News - Status Update - April, 2019 Edition

The following is a news item from Captain Kelly Jean O'Connor.

Welcome to America’s first 2019 Status Update! I will be sending these out on the first of the month (give or take a few days) to give an overview of everything that happened in the month before and of what our goals are for the upcoming month.

Crew

This month we welcomed our entire crew of six players:

Lieutenant Commander Magnus Grey, XO and Chief Communications Officer
Lieutenant Raine MacLeod, Chief Security Officer
Lieutenant JG Brian Pendragon, Engineer
Lieutenant Shri Thais, Chief Science Officer
Lieutenant Iona Vrell, Chief Medical Officer

We're going to continue improving upon the site to make it attractive and informative for all. Our XO seems to have this mostly under control, but if there's something that you want to see that we don't have, please let us know!

Sim

We started out with three posts but I know that I have 5 in my inbox/pending hopper, so I am hoping that the pace will pick up soon.

Mission Recap

America has just arrived into Spacedock after a rather harrowing mission with the Kelvans and their children trying to take over the universe, as their parents once had. Foiled, America returned home and is obtaining new crew, much to the chagrin of the Captain.

Objectives

Take on crew and get assigned a new mission.

Player of the Month

Although we only have a small sampling for March, I am going with Lieutenant Junior Grade, Brian Pendragon. There’s simply no substitute for our shy Engineer and the creativity of his writer.

BFMS

If you have not already done so, please register your character at the below site and assign them to USS America, Task Force 64. Bravo Fleet and the Task Force would like as many people on there as possible, as would I.

Ideas
