Physical Description		Owen is tall, with an athletic build. His dark blond hair is short without bangs or sideburns. His skin is pale, but not overly so with a faint green tinge that becomes more pronounced when he blushes. His brown eyes are so dark that at times they appear black. He has arched eye brows and slightly pointed ears like most with Vulcan ancestry. His mother's people don't suppress their emotions like Vulcans and have no psionic powers. As such Owen has never learnt the Vulcan focusing techniques.

General Overview		Owen is analytical, precise, and resourceful. His lack of social skills is often mistaken for Vulcan stoicism, a situation not helped by his Vulcanoid looks, much to his annoyance. He is working on improving his social skills, while hiding his unease behind a mask of professionalism. Has a mild Welsh accent. Though he would rather defuse a conflict with words, he is not above using violence, if the situation calls for it.

Personal History		Owen was born on Beta Ganymede III, where his father was stationed. The planet was also home to a former Earth colony. Owen, his mother was among the only non-humans on that planet. And there were some on the planet that believed they shouldn't be there at all. It is trying to understand this bigotry that lead to Owen's interest in cultures other than his own Owen was born with a great thirst for knowledge and would read anything he could get his hands on. He spent most of his time studying, perhaps in an effort to quench that thirst. As a consequence he did well in school. His best subjects being languages, history and the Sciences, though he found physics to be a bit of a headache. Since his human ancestors were Welsh, this was among one of the first languages he learnt. This self-imposed schedule left little time for socialising, but on those rare occasions he did socialise it was with adults, as he felt more comfortable around them and had trouble relating with people of his own age. Owen's father was a and expected his only son to follow in his footsteps, become a Marine, to this end he taught him some of the skills that he would require. Something that Owen, at the time thought was useless to him. He saw himself as an academic and wished to become Scientist. What type of Scientist tended to change from week to week. Unsure whether he wanted to enter Starfleet or not, after High School, he took a medical degree at the local University, and graduated after eight years. Having gained more confidence in his own abilities, Owen decided to give Starfleet Academy a try. Entering the Starfleet Officer Cadet Course at the Academy.
