| Personal History | Aurora Rogers grew up in a loving home with parents that promoted the ability to learn languages. Her mother chose to push the language of her ancestors and family. Her father believed that knowing languages would help you expand your horizons and become more cultured. He himself was a communications lecturer at the academy and allowed Aurora to sit in on a few lectures. Due to a tragic accident, Aurora lost both of her parents at the age of sixteen and spent the next two years in the care system, bouncing from foster home to home. This is where she picked up a number of phrases in other languages. The second she could, Aurora applied for Starfleet and got in without question onto her chosen path. She believes this was out of pity but remains with Starfleet, adamant to follow in her father's footsteps and to be more than just his legacy. |
